GM/Head Professional Brandon Mensinger is originally from Bridgman, Michigan, a small beach town on the shore of Lake Michigan. Brandon grew up caddying at Lost Dunes Golf Club and turned his passion for golf into a career. In 2017, Brandon left Grand Valley State University to pursue further golf industry education at Golf Academy of America – Myrtle Beach, where he graduated with a degree in Golf Complex Operations Management. From there, Brandon went on to work at True Blue Golf Club and then The Long Bay Club. before taking over as General Manager and Head Golf Professional at Colonial Charters.
Food & Beverage Manager Jennifer Bogensberger grew up in Trucksville, a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania. Although her education was in Real Estate, she found herself running the wait staff at a private golf and country club in Dallas, Pennsylvania from 2004-2008, where she met her now husband Robert. When she left the field she became an ABO certified optician working as a optical manager for several medical and retail locations in northeastern Pennsylvania.
In 2019 her passion for the game of gold brought her to the Myrtle Beach area, where also worked as an optician and began working part time as a beverage cart/grill attendant/server at Aberdeen Country Club in October of 2021. In February of 2022 she was presented the opportunity to combine her passion for the golf industry and food service and became the food and beverage manager at Long Bay Golf Club. She decided to leave the medical field and follow her heart. In April of 2023 she also began managing Colonial Charters Golf Club and continue to manage both until October of 2024. She now devotes all of her time and energy into growing and developing the Colonial Charters Clubhouse.
Superintendent Andy Prinz started his career in turf management at the Country Club of Maryland in 1981. From there, he furthered his education at Rutgers University and finished with his Turf Management certification in 1986. Andy moved to the Myrtle Beach area in 1993 to learn more about growing grass in the warmer southern climate as Assistant Superintendent at the Pearl Golf Links. In 2000 he got his first shot at a Superintendent position at Angel Trace Golf Club, followed by a 4-year stint at Ocean Isle Beach Golf Course. Andy started at Colonial Charters in 2016 and has been enjoying his time here since.
